Procedure
How to file an RTI application
- Draft the application in English or Hindi, clearly stating the information sought.
- Address the application to the Public Information Officer, Biotech Park, Sector-G, Jankipuram, Lucknow — 226031.
- Attach an application fee of ₹10 by way of Indian Postal Order (IPO) / Demand Draft / Banker's Cheque payable to "Biotech Park, Lucknow".
- Citizens below the poverty line (BPL) are exempt from application fees on production of a valid BPL certificate.
- The PIO shall furnish the information within 30 days of receipt, as prescribed under Section 7 of the Act.
- If dissatisfied, the applicant may prefer an appeal to the First Appellate Authority within 30 days of the PIO's response.
